When typing, ideas can be expressed in a non-chronological order unlike what writing whereby everything has to be in order, computers also have facilities such as the backspace button which will erase mistakes and spell checkers so the risk of making errors is minimized whereas in hand-written work there are ways of erasing mistakes made but the evidence of a mistake made will still be present
