Week 5 Meikle part C

I don’t think that DIY newsmakers should be classed as alternative culture in a sense they are the same as everyday journalists except for the fact that they publish most of their material online, the benefit of this is that their material can be updated and changed completely without the need to reprint the newspaper in a sense this makes them alternative but in my opinion it is that they have access to a medium whereby change is very easy to do.
