I don’t think that commercialization on the site will cause people to leave the site however, I myself being an account holder the commercials get a bit annoying but other than that the promoted videos sometimes contain really good stuff.
Produsage however can cause conflicts in communities using YouTube as an example again the beheading of Saddam Hussein was recorded on a mobile phone camera and it was posted on the YouTube site. To some people this is viewed as entertainment to some it is highly disrespectful regardless of what atrocities that he committed. In the future I think that tighter regulations will have to be put in place because this type of produserism could spiral out of control and cause more damage than good to society.

the internet should work the same as TV- ccensors should be in place, and things should definately be moderated. I think its a positive thing that we have freedom of speech online...but you have to draw the line somewhere before you hurt/offend others.
