Week 5 Meikle part D

I think that the audience has to be discriminating as to what websites they visit to read the news, the information quality level is highly depended on what materials the journalist is open to as well as their experience in news gathering and reporting. One cannot just base their opinion on previous stereotypes

    Don't you think that the publication that pays them also has an effect on the approach they take?

    So we have sustained attitudes in newspapers over the years. This contextualises journalistic content as well as providing a professional framework for expected journalistic standards of accuracy.

    Online -in blogs for instance, there is not necessarily a history of where the writer is coming from -and no guarantee of any 'journalistic integrity'. But they're not labouring under the corporate constraints of the Guardian, Sun or FT are they?
